June 20 is the World Refugee Day. To underline this date, we are organizing a fundraiser for projects of Save the Children for refugee Children and their families in Mexico.

Why this initiative?

We approached this organization thanks to Enrique Iglesias, ambassador of Save the Children. In 2018 I went to Zurich to learn about the work Save the Children is doing and we are passionate about this cause. Their mission is to protect and support the most deprived children in Switzerland and around the world.

We think that children carry a shining sun in their hearts. It is our responsibility to ensure that this light does not go out: growing up every child deserves a future and the opportunity to give the best of himself to the world.

Save the Children was founded in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb: a pioneering visionary teacher of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. During the First World War, she stepped up for children so that many children in Europe received assistance.

Humanity owes the child the best it has to give.

Migration to United States Many people migrate from Mexico and Central America to the United States: they are fleeing a difficult life to give their children a better future. Only in the first three months of this year, 22,000 people passed through Mexico, including 3,433 girls, boys and teenagers.
