Passion and quality
Working at Save the Children is challenging but also incredibly rewarding. At Save the Children, you work with talented, like-minded people and specialists who are committed to ensuring that all children survive, learn and are protected.
Equality At Save the Children, nobody is discriminated against due to their origin, religion or gender.
Global & local Save the Children is active in 120 countries and thus globally rooted. At the same time, our decentralised structure provides a local focus – Save the Children Switzerland is both a Swiss and a global organisation.
Child safeguarding Our work is based on the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. To protect children and teenagers, all employees are required to sign the Save the Children letter of commitment to the protection of children and to produce an up-to-date excerpt as well as a special excerpt from the Swiss criminal records.
Progressive employment conditions Save the Children Switzerland attaches great value to a positive work climate and offers flexible annual working time, home office, 16 weeks of maternity leave and 2 weeks of paternity leave. We promote equal opportunities for women and men as well as reconciliation of work and family by offering part-time employment and a good work-life balance.
